Pioneer DJC-800 RV…aka rotary knob kit for djm 800 mixer.

As a house dj, I always dreamed of having a rotary knob mixer.

the manual warned me that I need to bring my mixer to authorized dealer to install the kit, but it didn’t look too hard so I gave it a try. First take volume fader caps off.

then fader screws off,

faders out.

then carefully connect the sockets to the mixer.

Verdict? it’s so freaking smooth. Since everything else on the mixer is controlled with rotary knobs, it just feel much natural to have the volume fader as rotary as well.
