American classic Levi’s with a twist of Obey clothing, the collection looks amazing. I myself ordered one jean jacket. They are still available at levis.com. Grab it while it lasts. And to celebrate the collection launching, Shepard Fairey did live installation in the middle of Time Square! I can’t believe I wasn’t there…but here are some pictures from the event. (Photos via obeyclothing) Obey is so huge now.

Kaws – Interview Magazine and Dissected Companions

SDC10831

September issue of Interview magazine features Natalie Portman on the cover.

SDC10832

She is so beautiful.

SDC10834

but the real reason why I picked up the issue is because Kaws was featured. This is Kaws interpretation of MJ and his white gloves.

SDC10835

I’ve seen many photos and illustrationa of MJ but I think this is by far the best.

SDC10839

Then this new dissected companion key chain came in at Riccardi’s. They only got 10 figures per color, so 30 total. I got lucky and picked them up before they got sold out. Mr. Riccardi also hook me up with OF starks laces as a gift. Thank you sir!

SDC10932

Kaws companion key chains and dissected bearbrick family all together!

SDC10841

Bonus: I just bought my first playboy…Marge is very hot in this issue…which is very weird.

Claude VonStroke – Bird Brain

bird_brain_cover_final_RGB

Dirtybird records boss/my favorite producer/amazing DJ, Claude VonStroke’s new album “Bird Brain” is out! Get it on itunes, CD or Beatport on Wed. Sounds like good old dirty bird’s signature mind blowing ghetto ass shaking heavy beats and very well produced. Kudos to Tanner Ross for engineering “Vocal Chords” track. I just realized it by looking at cd credit section. “Vocal Chords” has been getting appraisal from many djs for its original sound. According to Ben watt – “Never give 5 stars, but this deserves it. Beautiful heavy track. Imaginative, simple and complex all at the same time.” Nice. This is a must buy album of the year. Get it everyone!
