after partying hard at Lorenzo’s new apt in Brooklyn, I woke up next morning, not remembering much stuff, had to head out to Manhattan to meet some friends. I needed to find the L train but then I got lost. I was way too tired to figure out where I was. Then randomly I found this gorgeous Obey piece on the wall. I only found this because I got lost. I still felt terrible from the partying but this made my day. what a moment to remember. thanks to random dude for taking the photo. cheers.

I stopped by Riccardi’s Boston and found out they bought another 4′ companion. this time it’s dissected. They told me they are also getting monotone dissected soon. I’m just glad I get to see it for real. Absolutely stunning.

they even had “no future companion” black and silver edition. they were F***ing me for not buying anything from the store.

I went to see Phoenix at Terminal 5, but then found out Kid Cudi was opening.

I don’t know who thought of putting Kid Cudi as an opening act for Phoenix but I really enjoyed him. He was definitely more than “Day ‘n’ nite”.

Phoenix! I never get tired of seeing them.

my uncle’s dogs, Sparky and Mouse, took over the couch.

I went to New York’s legendary Katz’s Delicatessen for dinner.

a crowded restaurant means good food!

Katz’s Deli is mostly known for When Harry met Sally’s famous scene, “I’ll have what she is having”

they even had a sign above the table where Harry and Sally sat. very funny.

but I know Katz’s Deli from my favorite show,  Man Vs. Food. Adam introduces Katz’s Deli during NYC episode as his childhood pig out place. I was very excited to find Adam Richman’s photo on the wall. Man Vs. Food is the best show ever, in case you didn’t know.

Katz’s signature Pastrami sandwich and coleslaw. they were freaking good.

I had what Adam had, Rueban sandwich. It is corn beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing. basically amazing.

then I went to Cielo. since it was getting deep with LA’s very own Marques Wyatt.

I was lucky to see Marques Wyatt. it was such a great set. classic deep house to cutting edge deep house, this guy knew what he was doing.

my usual clubbing buddies, clay and koo came out as well. we need some lady friends…

Finally came back to Boston but this time my mother came with me.

I took her to ICA. Sadly Shepard Fairey exhibition was over.

but ICA still has the best view in Boston.

ICA’s tech room is fully equipped with imac and sick water front view.

September in Boston is blessed with amazing weather. which won’t last very long…

right around ICA, there is James Hook fish market.

they have amazing lobster roll. must have in Boston for sure.

then there was DOTC (Dancing on the Charles) finale party. My man Tanner hook me up with the guest list. thanks mate!

my mother was always interested in the culture that I was into. so I took her to DOTC. I might be the only dude who brought his mother to DOTC but it was actually a lot of fun. she liked the idea of out door party with house music all night long. and of course, she loved Sam Adams as well.

Boston finest DJs, Tanner, Sergio, and Randy. DOTC finale party marks the end of Summer very nicely.
