oh my god…I just found out about this from the prodigy website, they are coming to Boston on May 20th at House of Blues! I can’t believe I might finally see them live. the prodigy basically changed my life. about 10 years ago they released this amazing album called “the fat of the land” (it’s still my favorite album of all time!). at that time I was 12,  listening to mariah carry and boyz II men…then the prodigy changed everything. ever since the prodigy, I got into the whole electronic music scene then house music….then djing. it all started from the prodigy. so they mean a lot to me. this is huge. I’m so overwhelmed. ahhhh. make sure to check out their new album “invaders must die” and new single “worrior’s dance”, then you might understand why I’m going crazy.

woooo, I waited for this for a long time. one of epic track of 2008, ben watt’s guinea pig is getting a proper remixes on this release. M.A.N.D.Y. kept all the essence of ben’s sound and turned it into a dance floor killer track. on the other side, dj koze took it apart and made it into very distinctive chaotic dj koze style track. I love them both. just another buzzin’ fly killer release. get them on itunes or beatport! by the way, what a beautiful cover.

I’ve been drooling over new traktor scratch pro. I moved to cd djing about two years ago thinking I made a right decision of investing cdjs since I couldn’t get vinyls anymore. now everyone is using either serato or traktor with a laptop. I have a no problem using 2 cdjs but the advantage of digital djing seems very huge. especially seeing wave visual is quite nice. can somebody buy me a traktor scratch pro? until then, I’m playhing with 30 min demo on my laptop
